党的十八大以来，我们把全面从严治党纳入“四个全面”战略布局，这是新的历史条件下我们党应对世情国情党情变化的必然选择。我们坚持问题导向，主要从以下几个方面推进全面从严治党。一是抓思想从严，坚持用马克思主义中国化最新成果武装头脑、凝心聚魂，用理想信念和党性教育固本培元、补钙壮骨，着力教育引导全党坚定理想、坚定信念，增强中国特色社会主义道路自信、理论自信、制度自信、文化自信。二是抓管党从严，坚持和落实党的领导，引导全党增强政治意识、大局意识、核心意识、看齐意识，着力落实管党治党责任，不断增强各级党组织管党治党意识和能力。三是抓执纪从严，坚持把纪律挺在前面，严明党的政治纪律和政治规矩，着力推动全党牢记“五个必须”、防止“七个有之”，保证全党团结统一、步调一致。四是抓治吏从严，坚持正确用人导向，深化干部人事制度改革，破解“四唯”难题，着力整治用人上的不正之风，优化选人用人环境。五是抓作风从严，坚持以上率下，锲而不舍、扭住不放，着力解决许多过去被认为解决不了的问题，推动党风政风不断好转。六是抓反腐从严，坚持以零容忍态度惩治腐败，“老虎”、“苍蝇”一起打，着力扎紧制度的笼子，特别是清除了周永康、薄熙来、郭伯雄、徐才厚、令计划等腐败分子，有效遏制腐败蔓延势头。
Since the 18th National Congress, we have incorporated comprehensively governing the Party with strict discipline into the “Four Comprehensives” strategy. This is an inevitable choice that our Party has made in response to developments globally, nationally, and within the Party under new circumstances. Adopting a problem-oriented approach, we have focused on the following aspects in comprehensively governing the Party with strict discipline. First, we have focused on strict ideological cultivation. We have continued to equip our Party members with the latest achievements of Chinese Marxism, so that they unite with one heart and one mind. We have used ideals, beliefs, and code of conduct of the Party to enhance their ideological foundation and strength, and guided them in reinforcing their ideals and beliefs, thus increasing their confidence in China’s socialist path, theories, system, and culture. Second, we have focused on the strict management of the Party. We have upheld the leadership of the Party, and guided the entire Party in enhancing political commitment, seeing the bigger picture, following the core leadership of the Party, and staying aligned with the Central Committee. We have also ensured that responsibilities in the management and governance of our Party are fulfilled, and made continued efforts to enhance the awareness and capacity of Party organizations at all levels in this regard. Third, we have focused on the strict enforcement of discipline. We have attached primary importance to discipline, strictly enforced the Party’s political discipline and political rules, and urged the entire Party to bear in mind the “five must-do’s” and prevent the “seven types of misconduct,” in an effort to safeguard the solidarity, unity, and coordination of the entire Party. Fourth, we have focused on the strict management of officials. We have adhered to sound criteria for official appointments, deepened the reform of the personnel management system for officials, refrained from selecting officials solely based on votes, examination scores, GDP growth rates, or age, and rectified undesirable tendencies in personnel appointment, thereby improving the environment for personnel selection and appointment. Fifth, we have focused on the strict management of conduct. We have urged senior officials to lead by example, and made tireless efforts to resolve problems that were once considered unresolvable, thereby improving Party and government conduct on a constant basis. Sixth, we have focused on strictly combating corruption. Maintaining a zero-tolerance stance on corruption, we have upheld the principle of not only caging the “tigers” but also swatting the “flies” by building a sturdier institutional cage. In particular, we have rooted out corrupt officials such as Zhou Yongkang, Bo Xilai, Guo Boxiong, Xu Caihou, and Ling Jihua, thus effectively curbing the spread of corruption.
经过几年努力，全面从严治党取得重要阶段性成果，党内正气在上升，党风在好转，社会风气在上扬。这些变化，是全面深刻的变化、影响深远的变化、鼓舞人心的变化，为党和国家事业发展积聚了强大正能量。这充分表明，党中央作出全面从严治党的战略抉择是完全正确的，是深得党心民心的。
