Twin polar bear cubs make first appearance in Dalian
Twin polar bear cubs have made their first public appearance at an ocean park in northeast China.
The cubs met visitors for the first time on the first day of the New Year at the Dalian Laohutan Pole Aquarium. Hundreds of visitors rushed to take pictures of them. The twin brothers were born on October 14th, and park staff say they are growing well.
The cubs are the second delivery for their parents, who were a present from the Finland National Park in 2001.
A pair of male and female bear cubs were born in April 2011. Experts say female polar bears rarely give birth to two sets of twins in the same year.
