尊敬的非盟委员会主席法基阁下，
尊敬的各位专家、媒体朋友，
女士们、先生们：

Distinguished Experts,
Friends from the Media,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
很高兴来到象征中非友谊的非盟会议中心，出席中非减贫发展高端对话会暨中非智库论坛开幕式。我谨代表中方对会议的成功召开表示祝贺，对非盟委员会的精心安排表示感谢，对各位的出席表示欢迎。
It gives me great pleasure to be here at the African Union (AU) Conference Center, a symbol of China-Africa friendship, and attend the opening ceremony of the China-Africa High-Level Dialogue and Think Tank Forum on Fighting Against Poverty for Common Prosperity. On behalf of the Chinese side, I would like to offer our congratulations on the successful opening of the forum, extend our thanks to the AU Commission for its thoughtful arrangements and welcome all of you to today’s event.
这是我就任中国外长后第12次到访非洲，共访问了31个非洲国家，亲身感受到非洲发展的崭新景象，亲眼见证了中非合作的蓬勃发展，亲身体会到中非友好深入人心。中方始终认为，21世纪不仅是亚洲的世纪，也是非洲的世纪，更是发展中国家的世纪。
This is my 12th visit to Africa since I became China’s foreign minister. My job has taken me to 31 African countries and allowed me to see firsthand the progress in Africa’s development and the robust China-Africa cooperation and personally experience the deep-rooted friendship between China and Africa. China always believes that the 21st century belongs as much to Asia as to Africa and all the developing countries.
环顾当今世界，各种不确定和不稳定因素明显增加，和平与发展问题依然突出。非洲有近4亿人民生活在贫困线以下，中国还有4000多万人口需要脱贫。中非双方携手摆脱贫困、实现共同发展，是我们这一代人对子孙后代承担的责任，是中非人民为之奋斗的共同目标，也是人类社会进步发展的必然要求。
